Elon Musk has called out the famous hacker who was the first and last reason to hack the PlayStation 3 over 15 years ago. Jorge Hotez Who is now working on several projects belonging to the Twitter 2.0 platform.
For those who don't remember Hotz, he was one of the most famous electronic hackers, as his name gained prominence after discovering a security hole in the operating system of the PlayStation 3 device, through which he was able to open the door for pirates in order to issue various modified operating systems that allow users to run pirated games and applications on a Sony device.
Of course, Sony then pursued Hotez legally, as he promised at the time, through an agreement between the two parties, not to tamper with the operating systems of PlayStation devices, while Sony dropped the case against him.
Hotez now works for a software company specializing in making operating systems for autonomous vehicles, but he was also the first to accept Elon Musk's offer to work for free with the Twitter platform for 12 consecutive weeks.
Musk has publicly accepted the offer, and Hotez appears to be working on two projects for the company right now: overhauling Twitter's search functionality and trying to get rid of the unremovable login window that appears after scrolling down.
It is worth noting that the Twitter platform has recently been the target of much criticism and has entered a state of chaos after the famous millionaire Elon Musk managed to acquire it for US$1,440 million. Where many employees were fired, while many investors lost confidence in the platform, which caused its market value to drop significantly and significantly.
Musk has recently started taking some positive steps, including stepping back from managing the Twitter platform and bringing in some engineers and experts to manage content and improve the user experience, including, of course, George Hotez, who will see how he can solve some of Twitter's problems in just 12 weeks.
