Dying Light 2 Stay Human has received several updates in its first year. Last year, the first paid expansion, Bloody Ties, was released, but more are on the way this year.

During the game's anniversary stream, a new slate of content for 2023 was teased, with Techland confirming cross-gen functionality, more co-op modes, and Steam Deck support coming this month.

April sees the release of an update to the combat mechanics alongside TGG missions, and new night trials and improvements to the parkour system are coming in June. Finally, a second DLC will be available in late 2023. The story content introduces a new location and new weapons. Players will discover Wild Barrows and a swamp containing many infected people.

On February 4th, it will be one year since Dying Light 2 Stay Human was released for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, PS5, and PC. To celebrate the anniversary, Techland is holding a Bloody Anniversary event until February 9th. It also confirmed that the series has sold 30 million copies to date.

Players who complete the Bloody Anniversary event objectives can earn some cosmetic items. Those who own the first and second parts will receive a "special treat" and receive the Crane package at this location. Tell me, dear reader, what you thought of the game's previous content, and do you hope the next content will surpass it and give us truly great content?
