Author and story designer Josh Sher Leaving Naughty Dog Studio after 21 years there. The writer has moved to another studio to work on a new project, details of which will be revealed below.

Gus joined a team called Crop Circle Games as story director. This studio is working on a major game with a development budget of US$1,400,000. Naughty Dog has worked with Josh for nearly 21 years, writing and directing the story for the Uncharted series, The Last of Us, and more.

This news was announced by two sources. The first was the director's LinkedIn page. The second was through the website of the team he recently joined.

It appears Josh has finished working with the Naughty Dog team on a "secret" project he's been working on since 2020, as he mentioned on his page. Having such a big name at a mediocre studio would definitely help show positive results.
