The Evil West developer is backtracking on its claims that the Xbox Series S will delay current-gen games. Publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Flying Wild Hog recently announced Evil West's cross-platform support.
In an interview with Xbox Dynasty, Flying Wild Hog product manager Tomek Gop disputed the claim that the Xbox Series S was underpowered. When asked about the limitations of the Xbox Series S, Gop was blunt and said “No, why?”, indicating that there is no requirement to “make Series X look exactly like Series S, so we are not tied down as developers.”
In addition to his positive impression, Tomek Gop described the Xbox Series S as an “excellent market product” and confirmed that he knows many who “use it as an all-in-one for family entertainment.” The moderator also asked why the Xbox Series S version capped the frame rate at 30 fps, but Gop replied that opting for a balanced experience was the best option.
