Layers of Fear is set to release in 2023, and developer Bloober Team has released a new teaser for the game, with a slight name change. Although the first part was a fairly short game, it was a project that demonstrated the studio's capabilities.

The story within the ad offers a glimpse into an obsessed artist desperate to complete his masterpiece. The sequel was released in 2019, and now I'm eager to try this new release. One thing some may have noticed is the slight change in the name, as the developer chose to drop the "s" from the original Layers of Fears title to indicate that it's an entirely new sequel.

With Bloober Team hard at work on the Silent Hill 2 remake, the team has become known to us as horror games forever, and with the controversy surrounding The Medium, which featured the psychological horror element, the studio has proven to us that it has the ability to stand out in the indie horror scene through truly terrifying headlines.

The game will be exclusive to next-gen platforms and PC and will be released in June 2023. The reason for the game's exclusivity on next-gen platforms is the use of the new graphics engine Unreal Engine 5, which shows the strength of the graphics and details that appear in these short scenes.
