Still one of the most popular and influential games for those who weren't around in 2001, Metal Gear Solid 2 is the work of veteran Kojima.

When the game was released, it caused a sensation among the media and gamers alike, as it was a masterpiece ahead of its time when it was released, with graphics and features that were the first to appear in a video game. The game introduced game mechanics in an environment with an unprecedented level of interaction and realism. Not to mention the game's story, which dealt with thorny political issues that most games had not dared to address before.

The game was released in November 2001 exclusively on the PlayStation 2. A more extended version was later released called Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance. A few years later, it was released on the PC and then on the rest of the home consoles in the form of the HD Collection.

It's been over 20 years since the game was released. Despite this, the game has gained a special camera adjustment that transforms it into a third-person perspective. Originally, it had a dynamic view from above and from different angles, depending on the area in which the character is located.

Created by modder “oct0xor”, this mod decided to reverse engineer a camera pose. As well as rewrite a lot of things in the game engine. The result, as you can see, was very impressive, and this despite the fact that the camera in the original game is not defective, but the modification will make it keep up with modern games so that new players will accept it.
