2023 is another opportunity for Microsoft to release some of its most high-profile titles, announced a few years ago. The company confirmed that Starfield and Redfall will launch during the first half of this year. After rumors of Redfall arriving on May 2nd, it appears there are new details about Starfield.
The Steam store is now trying to cheer up players by changing the Steam game's release date from 2023 to "coming soon." The flip side may have something to do with Microsoft's event later this month.
We know that the Steam store uses marketing criteria to estimate game release dates, such as the end of the year. But if we know that Starfield is coming in the first half of 2023, why hasn't Bethesda updated the release date to something like the second quarter of 2023?
To answer that question, we won't have to wait long, in a recent reveal confirming a collaborative game show between Xbox and Bethesda on January 25, Xbox also confirmed that Starfield will receive a show dedicated to it soon.
