The CEO of Crystal Dynamics and Embracer, which owns developer Eidos Montreal, revealed some news about their upcoming projects during their quarterly earnings report. Most notably, Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal are set to release five AAA games by March 31, 2028.

Big-budget games for Crystal Dynamics are titles that have around 100 developers working nearly full-time to bring these projects to fruition. The CEO also mentioned the importance of having large budgets for marketing campaigns and other details that Embracer takes into consideration.

Of course, one of those big projects the developer is working on is the Perfect Dark project, which is co-developed by Xbox Studio The Initiative and Crystal Dynamics. Let's not forget the Tomb Raider project, which we know very little about since it's being developed entirely in Unreal Engine 5.

Last November, Crystal Dynamics CEO and Eidos CEO said the developer had received an overwhelming response to a survey that measured player interest in the return of an old series like Legacy of Kain, which has been one of the stagnant titles for many years. We don't know the exact five projects, but we think we know a few of them. Hopefully, we'll get more concrete details in the future.
