Digital Bros., the parent company of Remedy Studios, has announced that Control has surpassed 3 million copies sold worldwide since its release in 2019 to date.

The announcement came in the company's half-year report, which indicated that sales of the game Control have exceeded 3 million copies and its revenue is estimated at more than 92 million euros, which is a good success for the game that received great critical acclaim upon its release, thanks to its innovative and unusual designs.

The Remedy team confirmed early last year that Control 2 is still just graphics. Which means the game hasn't entered the real development stage and will likely take years. The game has a budget of 50 million euros, "about $52 million," which is a significant increase from the budget of the first part, which cost $30 million.

Of course, it's not the only game of the same title in development, as the developer is working on a project titled Codename Condor. It's a four-player team-based game against artificial intelligence that was announced in summer 2021 and takes place in the same world as the game.

Of course, such titles are aimed at a certain category of players, mainly those who are fully aware of the strange character that the developer studio assumes. The arrival of the first part of the game in this issue was never expected, and this will give them a great boost to work further on what comes from the main parts or sub-parts of the game.
