The release date for Resident Evil 4 Remake, the long-awaited and beloved title for fans of the popular horror series, is approaching. Despite growing fears among players that large parts of the remake would be cut, as happened with the re-released third installment, a source has confirmed otherwise with the return of the “island” region in the game.
The famous leak twilight golem The leaker of the return of Resident Evil 4 Remake and the Silent Hill series, citing an interview with the game's developers via Edge Magazine, confirms some information and denies the rumors circulating about the deduction of content from the upcoming remake. In a tweet in the form of a rich porridge, the leaker revealed many details, which we will share with you below.
The remake will see the return of the game's island region, and is the last stage the player goes through before completing the game, in addition to the next one.
Resident Evil 4 Remake Development Details
- Capcom divided the remake's developers into three sections, one section responsible for developing the village stage, another section responsible for developing the castle stage, and finally a section responsible for developing the island stage.
- Each section of the developer would assist the other in completing their work on a specific area or stage. The reason being the company's intense focus on remaking a much-loved game in the series.
- The developers added a lot of new content in each stage, especially the “island”. But no other details were mentioned.
And the source indicated that in the last stage, the work of the three teams was gathered and merged to form the complete game. Then they started working on some small things and putting the finishing touches to deliver a coherent game with complete content.
What we have concluded is that the game will not be just a remake, but will contain completely new details and elements added for the first time. It is worth noting that the company has stated that the game is already in the final stages of development in preparation for its release in two months.
It has also been confirmed that the game will provide a seamless OnShoot experience, with no loading screens appearing. This is to allow players to move between parts of the map and explore it without interruption.
Capcom has confirmed that it listened to players and their feedback on RE3 Remake and how they were criticized for cutting content. The company promised us that it wouldn't do that with RE4.
We note that the game will be released for PlayStation 4, 5, Xbox Series and PC on March 23rd.
