The ever-distinctive battle royale game Warzone 2 is now available to everyone for free across all different platforms, but it seems like someone is starting to feel uncomfortable with the presence of the Crossplay feature.

What is Crossplay in Warzone 2?

This feature, which has become compatible with many party games and online games, works by allowing all players on different platforms to come together in one environment to play together. In other words, players on PlayStation platforms can, for example, play with existing friends on Xbox and PC devices, as well as on Nintendo Switch, if they have one. And so on with all platforms.

While this feature allows friends on different platforms to play together, there are those who prefer to keep the game limited to their friends on the same platform. This is especially true for home platform users who prefer to avoid playing with PC users, as PC users rely on the direction and rapid movement of a mouse and keyboard, which allows them to respond quickly compared to controllers on home appliances, which often provide less rapid control and more complex response.

How do you disable crossplay in Warzone 2?

The feature is automatically unlocked when you launch Warzone 2 for the first time on any home platform or PC.

Disable Crossplay on PlayStation

When launching the Warzone 2 game from the main interface, follow these steps:

1. Click the Options button.
2. In the pop-up menu, go to the gear icon (settings).
3. In the list, go to the last option “Accounts and network”.
4. In the new menu, go to the first option “Crossplay”.
5. Click the X to disable the feature.

The issue here may be a little different, on PlayStation platforms, the special feature is disabled directly through the game launcher. But here on Xbox, you will have to disable it through the device's internal settings as follows:
