Everyone remembers what it was like when Cyberpunk 2077 launched almost 4 years ago. It was riddled with technical issues and took almost three years to fix, but what is the fate of the game now?

The CD Projekt Red team confirmed on more than one occasion last year that it would stop supporting the game Cyberpunk 2077, especially after it had reached a satisfactory stage for players and developers in several aspects, the most important of which were graphics, animation and gameplay.

According to the team's financial results, there are currently no developers at CD Projekt Red working on the game, and this indicates that all developers have moved on to work on upcoming projects, the most important of which are Project Orion, Polaris, and more.

The team is currently splitting up to work on two projects as the chart below reveals. Previous sources have confirmed that the team will release at least one project on the current generation, and it is likely that the rest of the projects the team is working on will be delayed to release on the next generation.

The Cyberpunk 2077 team had 17 developers in February, after which the developers were transferred to work on new projects. With the release of the game's last and only Phantom Liberty expansion, the team revealed that the game is now as it should be, as it was accompanied by the release of the game's latest update, number 2.00, which in turn improved its performance for the last time and its stability.

We’ve noticed that Night City still holds many secrets that no one has discovered yet, as confirmed by the development team. Do you think an official announcement of any of the team’s new projects could happen this year?
