Despite denying previously reported rumors that Microsoft will introduce changes to Game Pass packages with the launch of Black Ops 6 on the service, today the company revealed a new distribution for each of the service's monthly packages with different versions of the game.

There will be 4 distributions of the game in the monthly service packages, which allow players to access some game modes according to the type of package they subscribe to, which will be the following:

1- Final Game Pass: This option offers greater flexibility, allowing you to play Black Ops 6 Story Mode, as well as Online Multiplayer and Zombies modes on Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One and PC. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will also have access to the Digital Cross-Gen Bundle on Xbox and the Standard Edition Bundle on the Microsoft Store on PC.

2- Game Pass for PC: You can play the story mode, as well as the online multiplayer and zombies modes on PC. PC Game Pass subscribers will have access to the Standard Edition bundle in the Microsoft Store on PC.

3- Game Pass for Console: You can only play story mode on Xbox Series. Multiplayer (sold separately) is required to play Online Multiplayer and Zombies on Xbox Series console. Game Pass subscribers must upgrade to Game Pass Ultimate or also subscribe to Game Pass Core (sold separately) to access these modes. Subscribers to this bundle will also have access to the Digital Cross-Gen Bundle on Xbox devices.

4- Game Pass Core: Game Pass Core includes access to online multiplayer on consoles, which is required to play Black Ops 6 online modes (multiplayer and Zombies) on Xbox consoles, but does not qualify you for access to the full game. Please also note that all Game Pass Core benefits are included in the Game Pass Ultimate plan.

It seems that Microsoft wants to restrict users to the Game Pass package based on how they want to play, which could impose some sort of restriction on current players and subscribers who want to get it through the monthly service.
