Bandai Namco Finally Reveals First Look at Unknown 9: Awakening Gameplay

Bandai Namco Europe has revealed the first gameplay look at the action-adventure game Unknown 9: Awakening, developed by Reflector Entertainment. The title will be released this summer for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam.

Unknown 9: Awakening is a third-person narrative action-adventure game that follows the story of Haroona, a researcher born with the ability to venture into the Fold: a mysterious dimension that overlaps our own. In her quest to obtain powerful hidden knowledge, she will learn to master her unique connection to the Fold, allowing her to channel its power into our world. But this power does not go unnoticed, as Haroona soon becomes the target of the Ascended, a splinter faction of a secret organization known as the Order of Leap Year, who seek to use the Fold to change the course of human history.

Players take on the role of Haroona, who embarks on a global journey to right the wrongs of her past. As this mission unfolds, players will choose between ambushing opponents from the shadows or fighting head-to-head with their enemies to dominate them, dodging bullets, attacks, and launching energy blasts, and creating creative combat combos to customize their playstyle.
