This morning, the Resident Evil 4 Remake demo that Capcom promised us was available. The demo, called “The Saw,” is available to download on PlayStation 4, 5, Xbox Series, and PC.
The Resident Evil 4 Remake “Saw” demo allows players to experience the first few minutes of the game, specifically the opening village area, without a specific release date. Being available on all devices that the game will be released on, a YouTube channel made a comparison between PlayStation 4, 4 Pro and 5 to see the capabilities of these devices in running the game.
It was found that the game performs better in performance mode, i.e. Resolution or Resolution, the PlayStation 4 was able to run the demo at 900p resolution and 40 frames per second. While the PlayStation 4 Pro was able to run the demo at 2160p resolution and 30 frames per second. Finally, the PlayStation 5 was able to run the demo at 2160p resolution and 60 frames per second with ray tracing technology.
Secondly, we have the accuracy of the details, and of course, the PlayStation 5 clearly prevailed. As for the third, which is the download and execution speed of the demo, the PlayStation 5 managed to run the demo in 5.63 seconds. While the regular PlayStation 4 managed to run it in 16.93 seconds, finally, the Pro unexpectedly managed to run the demo in 19.30 seconds.
There are small differences that you won't notice when running the demo on all three devices. Like shadows and reflections, but that was of interest to the PS5, of course. You can watch the rest of the differences above in the video, and see the details of the performance and clarity phases of the three devices.
In Resolution mode, frame rates become uneven and are not fixed across all three devices. While more emphasis is placed on reflections, shadows and others.
We remind you that the game will be available on the 24th of this month for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
