VGA4A members' picks for Game of the Year: God of War Ragnarok provided a great experience.

This year ended with the introduction of distinctive and exclusive titles that will not be forgotten, one of which is God of War Ragnarok. This game, which was the last cross-generation exclusive, was a well-deserved farewell for the PlayStation 4 and an excellent introduction to the capabilities of its current sibling.
We expected God of War Ragnarok to win the title of game of the year, but the award went to its tough rival, Elden Ring. Despite this, the game managed to win six different awards and is currently sitting pretty as the second best game of the year.
The game's story continued the events of the previous installment, released in 2018, and truly lived up to expectations. Furthermore, we saw many changes to the gameplay and combat system. Most importantly, the story captured our hearts and varied in many ways.
The story used to put you on edge sometimes and wait for what will happen next, and then bring you back to a calm state that allows you to explore, and then take you to another side, which is the passion, the feelings, and the love of a father for his only son and always going to protect him.
Ragnarok, in my humble opinion, is the game of the year for many reasons. First, it's a well-rounded and compelling sequel. Second, its technical direction is flawless. And third, it expanded its multiplayer content, worlds, and characters, which, in my opinion, represent the best cast of any video game ever.
God of War Ragnarok is my favorite game of 2022
My game didn't win Game of the Year, but it earned my love for it and the time I spent with it. The game took me away from reality for a long time and did to me what ocean waves do to the tides. I'll definitely be looking forward to a third installment or two of this beautiful masterpiece.
For those who haven't tried the game yet, I recommend giving it a try as soon as possible, especially if you're a father. You'll experience the meaning of fatherhood and experience the good and bad of the game. The game can also give you a sense of appreciation for your children, as they always look to you as a role model and often try to make you proud.
This is my pick for game of the year and I think many of you will agree with me, so what are your picks..!
