We received a new look today at Atomic Heart's highly anticipated gameplay. Above, you'll find 10 minutes that give us a glimpse into the combat system, abilities, and more.

The new trailer focuses on a thrilling first look at one of the boss battles in the alternate Soviet history shooter Atomic Heart against a giant, rolling ball of death called “Hedgie.”

The video, which showcases the game's incredible graphics, gives us a glimpse of the various weapons—including guns, snipers, and more explosive items—in your arsenal, as well as giving us a good idea of the challenge enemies will pose in the final game.

The game's story is a bit strange, but most importantly, in my opinion, it's interesting. A previous review revealed that the plot revolves around robots controlling humans in a technologically advanced era. The game's release date was announced a few days ago, and it's February 21st of next year on current- and last-generation devices and PC.

The game comes to us from the Russian development team Mundfish and was first announced in 2018 as a major title with a massive AAA budget. It also features a first-person perspective and is an action-adventure game with distinct horror touches.

We believe the coming weeks may reveal more about the game's course, especially its story, which seems strangely mysterious. Do you enjoy this strange genre of game featuring melee and robotic combat? Share with us in the comments section below.
