After days of delay, Ubisoft has shared 30 minutes of Skull & Bones

Surprisingly, and without further ado, Ubi Market shared with us today a video review of the Skull & Bones gameplay, which it postponed just a few days ago.
The video, which you can watch below, shows how the game's story can be told by traversing its open world and playing group games with friends online through what's known as "investigation."
Investigation is the new way Skull & Bones developers bring narrative elements to the game. This involves following certain steps that may lead the player to learn a new secret or discover a treasure or something similar. Narrative Director Joel Janis He commented on this, saying:
The player follows a path that they find interesting depending on their point of view, and they're likely to get a clue that leads to some kind of treasure... but at the same time it tells a story about a faction or the game world.
Janis added that these paths can be created by finding a message in a bottle floating on the surface of the sea, for example, or a newspaper clipping lying on the ground, or by talking to people the player encounters on islands in the vast game world. Through any of these elements, a story can be crafted that can be told in an interesting way.
The Skull & Bones game was supposed to be released on March 9th of this year, 2023, but the French publisher surprised us when it recently announced that the game had been delayed to an unspecified date in early next year, 2024.
After this delay, which comes among many previous delays to the game, Ubisoft announced that it will soon share more details about the game with us, and it seems that this time it has arrived soon with this fat video that analyzes a large part of the gameplay system.
Ubisoft justified the delay by saying that Skull & Bones' gameplay system has not reached a convincing level, as the developers need more time to expand it and make it better than it is at this stage.
