Microsoft is starting to reveal long-awaited new details about upcoming first-party games soon, with the next Xbox Developer_Direct event set to air later this month on January 25.

The company has confirmed that prominent titles such as Redfall and Forza Motorsport alongside Minecraft Legends will appear in the Developer_Direct offering, and while we'll see plenty of major news about these titles in terms of gameplay and more, it looks like we'll also see details being revealed about when these titles will be released.

This is according to the German Xbox Wire mentioning the release dates at the event, which states the following:

The Developer_Direct offering will focus on a comprehensive gameplay roundup and release dates for major Xbox titles set to launch in the coming months, with The Elder Scrolls Online, Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends, and Redfall among the list.

We're very much expecting these games to launch over the next three months, and it's basically logical that Microsoft would set specific release dates for all of these games in its massive offering this month, so it's no surprise... but the surprises certainly lie in the shows themselves.

Forza Motorsport and Minecraft Legends are expected to launch this spring, while Redfall is slated for a first-half release. According to recent leaks, the Redfall title is targeting early May.

Moving on to the release of Starfield... it looks like we'll see it in the first half of the year. While it won't be part of the Developer_Direct program, Xbox has confirmed that it will dedicate a standalone program specifically to the game.
