Last year, the organizers of the E3 exhibition announced its return this year in a new form, after a hiatus of years. The exhibition was considered one of the most important events of the year until major companies began to lose it, such as Sony and most likely Microsoft, Nintendo, Ubisoft and others.
This year, organizers are trying to bring back the E3 name and promote it again through a version that is described as distinct. But the most important thing is the companies present at it, which usually review all their news. Ubisoft has confirmed that it will be at this year's version if that happens.
said the company's CEO Yves Guillemot Speaking during Thursday's earnings call that he would really like to be on the said show, he continued:
If E3 happens, we'll be there and we'll have a lot to show.
It’s unclear why Guillemot is hinting at the apparent uncertainty surrounding this year’s E3. Details of the event’s format for 2023 were revealed late last year, which will see separate commercial and consumer events spread across four days next June. And last month, a source named ReedPop, a new event organizer, told VGC that they had received “huge interest” from many of the “biggest companies in the industry” and that he was confident the next edition would be a success.
If things turn out this way with a new organization, we hope to get a distinct version and a welcome return. Do you expect the exhibition to be successful after a long absence?
It's great that Ubisoft came to show off its titles like Assassin's Creed Mirage and the new The Crew. We hope the rest of the boycotting companies join them.
