Some early reports have emerged that there is a joint collaboration between Sony and Korean studio NCSoft to develop an MMO-style version of Horizon Zero Dawn.

According to what was published by MTN, the new game project will be developed by the same team that brought us Guild Wars and Lineage. The global market will be targeted to promote the game as part of Sony's plan to expand its investment in live service games.

Meanwhile, the project is still in its early stages, as the studio is still working to assemble the team to work on the new game, which will apparently have the working title Project H.

While it is difficult to confirm the authenticity of this information, many reports have emerged that talk about a multiplayer game project based on the world of the Horizon game being worked on. Perhaps this collaboration and the Horizon MMO project is the intended project.

There were also several reports that Sony was looking to add a co-op game mode to the final installment of Forbidden West, but the decision was reversed by the developer, who will apparently keep it to introduce it as a separate online game or within the yet-to-be-announced Horizon 3 game.

Guerrilla Games Studio was initially an independent developer, launching under the name Orange Games, but gained attention after the success of the Kill Zone series, which was released in 2004 on the PlayStation, where the series became a huge success. When the studio became a subsidiary of Sony Interactive Entertainment, it was incorporated into the PlayStation group, and its status soared with the success of the title in the Horizon series.

Regarding the Horizon MMO project, NCsoft's Global Liaison Office stated that it is difficult to confirm information about unannounced projects that are currently in development. In other words, it did not confirm or deny the validity of this information.

We're waiting for Sony to confirm whether this information is correct or not, and until then, how do you imagine a Horizon game in the style of MMO games?
