A few moments ago, some gamers started having trouble accessing PSN services. Where a large number of users complain about the inability to log in to personal accounts and play online games like Fortnite, FIFA, Cal of Duty, and others.
There is no official statement from Sony on this matter, but if we go to the network check section of the official PlayStation website, you will find that many regions around the world are experiencing issues with the PlayStation Network and fluctuation in the service. The circle of complaints is expanding and more users are joining from around the world, including the Arab region, Middle East, North and Africa.
After checking out the Down Detector website, which tracks user reports to track the health of major online networks, we found that it has recorded a network outage by tracking hundreds of reports that have started to appear in the last hour from gamers, as you can see below. Although Sony has yet to comment on the matter at the time of writing.
We would like to remind our followers that one of the methods used to ensure that the issues are resolved is to completely restart the system after disconnecting it from the power source for some time. However, some users have reported that restarting the PlayStation 5 did not resolve the issue.
Stay tuned for more updates, until then, let us know if you are facing the same issue while trying to play via PSN.
