We previously shared with you the head of Xbox Phil Spencer He thrilled us by placing a strange device behind his desk, where he appeared to be intentionally glimpsing Microsoft's new Keystone for cloud gaming services.
There are many reports that Xbox is preparing to launch a dedicated cloud streaming device for games via its Xbox Cloud Gaming service in the coming months, with many rumors indicating that it is codenamed Keystone.
Microsoft, for its part, announced last year that it was planning to launch a cloud game streaming device, as many expected it to be a joystick-like device that plugged directly into the HDMI port, but it is becoming clearer that this is not what many insiders imagined, but rather it will be a white box that looks like a Home control console, and is connected to the monitors as you can see below.
The device, known so far as a device codenamed Keystone, includes access to media apps like Netflix while having a lightweight user interface for playing Xbox games, Spencer recently commented, citing the media. Tom and Run:
It was something we were adopting internally in late spring as we focused on working with Samsung.
I still have the prototype… will we make a streaming device at some point? I hope so, but it's years away.

The device will be able to run the Xbox games library and the Xbox Cloud Gaming service, which makes it one of the low-cost solutions to experience Xbox titles on TVs without restrictions or complications, as you only need a fast and stable internet connection, as well as access to media apps like Netflix and a lightweight user interface.
Well-informed sources, via The Verge, have confirmed that this is the device Microsoft is currently working on, and the Xbox team is continuing to work on its streaming device, and still plans to launch it sometime next year, although the software giant has not commented in any way officially on the form of the device so far, or its release date.
Do you expect the new Microsoft Keystone device to hit the market within the next year?
