Documents submitted by Microsoft to accredited agencies regarding the acquisition of Activision have revealed the existence of a group of major games that are still in the development phase. One of them is a title that has been in development for almost 10 years.
A player from the Reddit community managed to obtain a part of the documents that Microsoft provided to the authorities concerned. Where it was mentioned that there is a certain unique address at which the company has been working for almost a decade (i.e. 10 years).
It is said that this project is the same as The Elder Scrolls 6 collective, which is most likely, because it is a really big title, and it is not excluded that it will take all this time to develop.
That's not all. Where the same documents obtained revealed that the Halo series, especially the latest installment, Infinite, cost Microsoft millions of dollars to develop.
In other news, Xbox has apologized for not showing any of the platform's upcoming games despite its president Phil Spencer's presence at The Game Awards, and this issue has left gamers never satisfied. Since the current year is the worst of this generation, even for the platform and its fans, due to the lack of exclusives and its exposure to delays.
Furthermore, the company is still reeling from the Activision acquisition. Recently, one of the parties involved in the trial filed a lawsuit against the company, accusing it of failing to deliver on its promises. For more details, click here…
