Intel Corporation recently announced that its most powerful 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900K processor has successfully set a new record that no other processor has dared to achieve by overclocking to its maximum capacity to date.
As the overclocking team of the Taiwanese company ASUS managed to reach the maximum endurance of the Intel Core i9-13900K processor to a frequency of 9008.82 GHz, a new achievement that came just a few months after the previous world record for K frequency by the same processor. As Intel stated through its press release:
The 13th Gen Intel Core desktop processor family has surpassed the world record for processor overclocking frequency.
In less than three months, the Intel Core i9-13900K has set the overclocking world record twice.
Working with partners like ASUS, Intel continues to provide desktop enthusiasts and gamers with the best processors and overclocking capabilities in the PC industry.
As for the parts that contributed to increasing the efficiency of the processor and maintaining its stability during overclocking, the “motherboard” was an Asus board named ROG MAXIMUS Z790 APEX from a company that costs US$ 699.99, as the processor temperature was reduced using a lot of liquid nitrogen, which contributed to lowering the operating temperature of the processor to -250.2 degrees Celsius.
In any case, the new Intel Core i9-13900KS processor is expected to be announced soon, which is a special version of Raptor Lake with the number of 24C/32T cores, as it will provide increased frequencies of up to 6 GHz without the need to increase frequencies.
