Blizzard has quietly begun development on its new survival game, as the name of the game and other details have not yet been revealed. On the other hand, the number of workers on the project has increased dramatically, which suggests the possibility of announcing it.
Almost a year ago, Blizzard announced that it was working on an entirely new project that would take place in a different universe. The game's world would be far removed from the worlds of the company's previous games and would also be a survival game.
According to a report previously published by Wccftech, it was found that the company's new project will be of the first perspective type. It has been in development for almost four and a half years. But from what was said, the project entered the development phase in 2017. It was also close to completion, but there is no information about the release date.
Quoted by IGN, and in a new post on the studio's blog that looks back on the past year. pointed out Mike YabaraBlizzard's president noted that the team has doubled in size this year and expects to grow even more next year.
The studio head also explained that the title is brand new (the team's first new title since Overwatch launched in 2016). He noted that the development team was headed by former Far Cry director Dan Hay, who left Ubisoft in late 2021 after more than ten years at the company.
The game will include a place full of heroes yet to be met, stories yet to be told, and adventures yet to be experienced. You will also enjoy a vast world of possibilities waiting to be explored.
