Capcom continues its mission of re-releasing the Resident Evil games with enhanced remake versions, and has received a great positive reaction from the public who are waiting for more, but it has been noted that the company is focusing on re-releasing the main numbered parts, which raises questions about sub-parts like Resident Evil CODE: Veronica Could we see a remake version of it?

During a Q&A with investors (via GamesRadar), the company was asked if Capcom is focusing solely on the numbered installments of the survival horror series. The response felt that the company would not exclude any of the main or subsidiary parts.

“We are in constant discussions about future expansion of this series so that it can be used.”

While the answer wasn't direct, what the company spokesperson said raised hopes that we'll see Resident Evil CODE: Veronica's installment in an improved Remake at some point.

Furthermore, the game could constitute a semi-essential complement to the series and a complement to the second part, not least because it introduced us to the character of Albert Wesker for the first time.

In the meantime, although we recently got the remake of the fourth installment, which was a great success, we do not know what the company is preparing regarding the series. However, there are sources talking about the presence of Resident Evil 9 in development, which should be revealed later this year or next year, with a release scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2024.

That's about the main parts that complement the series' installments, but what about the remakes? We don't know what the next classic sequel will be yet. But we don't expect it to be revealed any time soon, and we can expect it to be revealed by the end of next year.
