The famous battle royale game, PUBG MOBILE, celebrates the fifth anniversary of its launch with the new update No. 2.5, which includes a new construction phase under the name “World of Wonder”.

The new building mode will allow players to create in-game content across both modes and maps. Additionally, new areas, items, and rewards are coming as part of PUBG MOBILE’s fifth anniversary celebrations, with updates to Payload, Metro Royale Mode, the fourth cycle of Season 11, and the 21st Month Season Pass, which brings a wide range of new cosmetic items.

PUBG Mobile developers recently announced a new game mode, World of Wonder, which is a free-to-play building mode that offers players endless possibilities and completely new ways to play for the first time in the battle royale game. With the beta launching on March 16, players will be able to immediately experience the possibilities this mode offers, jumping into new maps and new modes as part of the exciting World of Wonder universe.

During the World of Wonder beta phase, players will also have the chance to let their imaginations run wild with the new mod's features.

In the next stages of the World of Wonder test, the battlefield will become an engineering playground with four landscapes that can be built from scratch, inspired by some of the famous locations on the Erangel map – including Bird's Perch, Coral Reef, Jade Kingdom, and the Erangel landscape itself.

Players will also be able to use the building feature with different items, materials and construction methods through a wide range of specially designed tools to copy, delete, rotate, zoom and more.

With more advanced features, game designers will be able to define their assets with a variety of different gameplay styles, which in turn will provide new gameplay mechanics in PUBG MOBILE! World of Wonder content creators will be empowered to create experiences across different genres, including arms racing, battle royale, and more.

But don't worry – for those who find building everything from scratch daunting, there will be two pre-made mods available – the Erangel Mod, which will offer the standard battle royale format, and the Craft Mod, which will work as a 4v4 Team Deathmatch on an all-new map created with World of Wonder.

While modding features are not widely available in the beta, starting March 16, players will be able to explore maps and modes created by other players, to draw inspiration from their content when creating their own.

World of Wonder has a suggestion list that will show you the officially recommended and most popular designs for you to try too.

PUBG Mobile's update No. 2.5 on March 18 will also accompany the game's fifth anniversary celebrations, and this includes the Imagiversary area, where players will be able to celebrate the anniversary of their favorite battle royale game at the Imagination Plazas in Erangel and compete for the big box in the center or visit the smaller Imagination District areas around Erangel and Livik to collect special gear rewards.

Four new items will also be available to add to the party atmosphere, including a colorful block cape that protects against enemy fire or helps you cross a bridge, and the Supply Converter, which converts supplies into items from past seasons or entirely new items. Plus the Portable Trampoline, which launches players into the air, and the Dual-Purpose Cannon, which is a cannon designed to either hit thunderous missiles or launch players themselves into the air!

Additionally, Update 2.5 brings changes to the game's Payload and Metro Royale modes to improve the player experience, including the addition of heavy vehicles in Payload, new cosmetic items, and new reward mechanics in Metro Royale.
