Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 Ready to make an impact as a free-to-play, free-to-play, remastered battle royale game that reintroduces the series Call to action.
Before the launch of Season 1, an extensive article will be dedicated to delving into the new features and mechanics that have been updated since what was shown in Call of Duty: NextFor now, here's a summary of the highlights we can share:
Similar to Call of Duty: Warzone original, Gear plays a prominent role in making this game special. Players will also have faster access to the primary equipment resource: the primary weapon, in this new era. There are three ways to earn gear, or at least a basic weapon:
Stores - Players can use in-match currency at Shops (the new name for the vending station) to purchase their primary weapon from prepared equipment.
Overall Gear Package Effectiveness – Gear packs will drop into the lobby mid-match in Battle Royale. However, they are not limited or reserved for individual teams, but can be accessed by any player.
Strongholds and dark places – Players can also earn their gear early in the game as a reward for protecting a stronghold or dark outpost.
Withdrawal Mechanisms –New backpack system, the traditional leftover from Battle Royale in the DMZ.
Warzone 2.0 will implement a new backpack system, fully integrated into the DMZ and streamlined for Battle Royale modes.Supply crates will drop items for collection. When a player interacts with any other loot container, such as a canvas bag or medicine pouch, they will use the loot list.
When a player dies, their primary weapon drops to the ground, along with their backpack, which contains the rest of their contents and can be accessed through the loot menu.
Define the new gulag
after effectiveness NextSome changes were applied to the new gulag in the last two months, while it was still an experiment war zone traditional.
The Gulag will be a 2v2 battle where randomly selected duos must team up to defeat their opponent. All players will receive a predetermined loadout—at launch, it will be a pistol or shotgun, a lethal grenade, and a tactical grenade. High-powered weapons and equipment are located near the center of the map.
The Gulag will also feature a warden who will appear mid-match to increase the intensity of the fight. Defeating the warden will return all four Gulag prisoners to the battle royale, which presents a dilemma: will they both agree to wait and fight this powerful enemy, or will one of them get greedy and try to achieve elimination victory?
Instead of the traditional overtime mechanism, if neither the team nor the warden are eliminated in quick succession, all four agents lose. AI Fighters in Battle Royale — Only in Strongholds, Dark Locations, and Gulag Overtime
The Gulag is one of three locations where players can fight against AI fighters, where they will be chosen to protect specific locations.
The other two locations are Strongholds and Blackouts, which are marked on the game's tactical map to allow you to engage in confrontations with AI fighters.
Several strongholds on the map will be activated during each match. Teams can head to these areas to fight AI fighters. The first team to complete a stronghold must defuse a bomb and earn a key to a black spot and their custom gear. Subsequent teams must eliminate a certain number of Defenders (AI or players) and earn their custom gear, but not the key to a black spot.
Dark Sites are more dangerous than Strongholds, but offer a permanent Weapon Blueprint bonus and more valuable in-game items to those who defend them. Available only with the Black Site Key, which is obtained by the first team to secure Active Strongholds.
