Several players are experiencing the issue of missing campaign packs in Modern Warfare 2 on PS4 and PS5, which is preventing them from entering the story mode, which is now available early for everyone who pre-ordered the game!
Today, early access to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's story mode began, but some users are starting to have trouble getting into the game due to a strange message that appears.
Missing Campaign Packs Issue in Modern Warfare 2 on PS4 and PS5
When entering the game and after installing the necessary packs to enter the story mode, which are Campaign Packs 1 and 2, when trying to enter the game, they receive the message “Missing one or more single player DLC packs”, which means that one or more Solo content packs are missing, even though the packs are already there and installed.
When the above message appears, a button appears to install the missing package, but when we press it, it takes us to the package that appears to already be installed on the device.
Meanwhile, we at VGA4A team are still facing the issue with the PS5 version and despite all attempts, we are still experiencing the same problem.
We are in contact with the Activision representative in the region to reach a solution or clarification on the cause of this issue, and we are still waiting for suggestions of solutions to try to share with you if the matter is successful.
Some users who encountered the issue on the PC version managed to get around it by installing the Arabic language in the game via the additional content packs, and it worked as you can see in the video below, but it didn't work with the PS5 or even PS4 version.
There are expectations from some insiders that the origin of the problem is a technical error in the game's servers, especially since it works to contact the servers even before allowing entry into story mode.
