As the PS5 enters its third year, we wanted to bring you memories and the most notable features of the device in its early years. For example, the home screen when you first start it up, which has now changed after its update and is less exciting than before.
Many of us often ignore the startup screens of our home consoles. This may be due to the delay in turning on the TV or even installing the HDMI cable, or the rush to get into the gaming mood. So now is the perfect opportunity to show you, perhaps for the first time, the PS5 operating screen as it was when it was first launched on the market.
The operating screen of the current device is consistent with the black and gray background color. But what most gamers don't know is that the screen didn't look like this when the device was initially released. As you'll notice below, the previous playing screen contained the current screen melody as well as another melody. And not only that, but also, before the color quickly turned gray or black, it was preceded by blue colors that look exactly like the device's advertising video.
One of the things we remember when watching the video is definitely the dynamic themes. Where Sony keeps promising that it will bring this beloved feature to the last generation, we haven't seen anything yet.
Players have made several appeals demanding the return of these themes, but Sony has not responded. We were also expecting to see this as a surprise in the system update that was available today (for details here ), but that didn't happen. Speaking of updates, details of a new upcoming update have leaked, which you can see here .
Of course, for those who don't know, the home screen we are talking about or the operational screen is the screen that precedes the appearance of what you see in the image above. So, what do you think of the device's home screen in its first year compared to the current screen, share with us below in the comments section.
