Sony today announced the cancellation of the PS Plus Collection bundle, which comes to Plus subscribers on PlayStation 5 devices.
Sony has confirmed that starting May 9 (5) of this year, the package that includes 20 different games will be removed, while players who own the games on their devices will be able to download or play them even after removing them. However, new subscribers to the service on PlayStation 5 devices will not be able to access the package after this date.
It's worth noting that the PS Plus Collection bundle gives subscribers to any of the PlayStation Plus bundles the opportunity to access 20 first-party and third-party games that were released on PlayStation 4 and have been updated to be compatible with PlayStation 5.
It's worth noting that when Sony released this bundle in 2020, it was monitoring how the PlayStation 5 gaming community might interact with the games, but it has only updated the library once since it was released in 2020.
It seems that the new update of the PlayStation Plus service, which divided the service into 3 different packages, has become a sufficient alternative to the PS Plus Collection, which is really convincing.
