The upcoming game Atomic Heart was shown off at Nvidia's latest conference, where its support for ray tracing technology was announced, its fighting styles, and more were revealed.
Atomic Heart comes from the Mundfish team and is published by Focus Entertainment. The game is a first-person action-adventure set in the distant future. The game's ray-tracing support means the visuals are impressively enhanced, from environments to enemies and effects like ice.
The story takes place in the Soviet Union, where robots are out of control, and players must stop their revolution in a facility. These robots will be equipped with the most powerful alien weapons, so you'll have to live up to this progress and create deadly weapons against them.
The Saudi Audiovisual Authority recently approved the game and gave it an 18+ rating. This means it won't be banned and will be released immediately. It's scheduled for release on February 21st on all current and previous home platforms, as well as PC.
The game's presentations bode well, despite widespread reports that it may be delayed, but its appearance at an event far from the games suggests notable progress in its development process.
We previously discussed the game's post-launch support, as the developer stated that new missions, weapons, and more are coming. You can find the rest of the details here.
