A God of War Ragnarok reviewer has received death threats from a handful of players because he received a low rating. What has raised suspicion is that the game has received very high reviews from several websites.

God of War Ragnarok officially launches tomorrow (tonight for local accounts). Sony gave several global sites a copy of the game two weeks before launch for their review. When the reviews came out, they were all very positive, except for those that came from the Korean branch of IGN!!.

The aforementioned website gave the game 6 out of 10 as it mentioned in its review that it is additional content from the first part released in 2018. Furthermore, it described the combat system as not being improved and repetition is still present.
