There’s nothing I can say about the Game Awards other than it was absolutely amazing. There were some wonderful surprises and some strange ones. On the wonderful side, Christopher Judge spoke alongside Al Pacino after receiving the award for best voice performance for the character Kritos from the game God of War Ragnarok.
We all noticed that the speech was very long and thought it was just something special or just one of those show tricks that we are so used to on the stage of The Game Awards. But in fact, the report of the show indicated a new surprise, which is the recording of a new world record by Christopher.
Thanks @geoffkeighley ! I would like to thank you… 😂❤️ https://t.co/AFw4GssQZk

Her acceptance speech at the ceremony was the longest award acceptance speech in history, after Greer Garson's speech at the 1942 Academy Awards. She spoke for 5 minutes and 30 seconds. Christopher Judge's acceptance speech at the Game Awards lasted 7 minutes and 59 seconds.
It seems to many that it has become a bit controversial among the players, but Christopher reports that organizer Geoff Kelly was “nothing but cool” about the situation, saying, “I thought it was all very funny.” “To those who have gone through life on their own, congratulations. For me, it was my success for a village. I will always be grateful to them.”
It is also reported that the actor's long speech cost Valve approximately 8 Steam Deck devices. Where the ceremony was sponsored by the company, and as a result, and throughout its duration, one full device was given away every minute for free.
God of War Ragnarok is out now on PS4 and PS5, if you haven’t tried it yet. You can check out our review of the game here. What did you think of the actor’s speech? Let us know in the comments section below.
