Valve is taking the lead again through the Steam platform, which broke its record with a new one. Players on it reached 30 million concurrent players.

Steam is the only platform that has managed to break its previously held record for concurrent players more than once. Prior to its current reach of 30 million players, it had a record 27 million concurrent players registered to its name.

Imagine with me this huge number, dear follower, this record is more than the population of the United States of America, excluding the state of California. On the other hand, it is hard to believe that it was achieved in just 24 hours.

It is worth noting that approximately 10 million players out of 30 million were already playing, and the rest were just browsing. This period of each year is well known for the platform, as it attracts a large number of players.

VG247 says that all of the platform numbers achieved in concurrent player counts were happening this winter. Perhaps the reason for the high player numbers is due to the release of the latest PlayStation exclusives.

Recently, Valve talked to Xbox management about bringing Xbox Game Pass to the platform, but the latter refused. I don't know how a company refuses to bring a premium service to a platform that has 30 million players that can be increased in the future!!

So, PlayStation management may bring the PS Plus service to the platform. I recently requested to link players' Steam accounts to the PSN network, as we attached earlier. This could actually indicate that there is a support plan between Valve and Sony, will the latter do it and see it in the victorious end there?
