Sony brings back PS Plus game removal dates after changing them…

A few days ago, we were surprised by a suspicious move by Sony when, without warning, it changed the removal dates for PS Plus games. But it appears the company has decided to return them after correcting the error.

Push Square monitored the return of PS Plus game delisting dates through GTA Vice City Definitive Edition, as seen below. It previously had no delisting date and has now been reinstated. We don't know why the commitments were removed in the first place, but it appears to be a simple technical error.

When the service launched, it was possible to know when some games would be released. This was achieved by having an expiration or departure date displayed below games approaching their release date.

In addition to games being removed from the service, some have noticed that games disappear from the Last Chance tab. This box on the service usually contains games that will be removed within 48 hours, so players are reminded of them before they are permanently removed.

Quality has now returned to normal, as players will see it next to each game when it's released. For example, GTA Vice City Definitive Edition will be released in February of next year.

On the other hand, Sony will announce the Essential Plus games and when they'll be available for download today, so stay tuned. In a previous report, the list of games, including Nioh 2 and more, was leaked; you can find the details here.

Do you think it's really a technical error, or is there something going on behind the scenes..?
