Unannounced Silent Hill: The Short Message Gets an Age Rating for PS5

This isn't the first time we've seen the name Silent Hill: The Short Message on the age rating board, as it was rated by the Korean Game Review Board last September.
Expectations were that it would be revealed later at the Silent Hill Transmission event that took place last October, but the game did not appear there.
Several titles in the series have been announced, which are being developed either at Konami's studios or in cooperation with external studios. The project from the studio Bloober Team is a remake of Silent Hill 2 for PS5, and then there is the project of the game Silent Hill: Ascension, a live-action series.
Also, let's not forget about Annapurna Interactive's Silent Hill: Townfall project. Finally, Silent Hill will feature a new story set in 1960s Japan.
But among all these announcements, the name Silent Hill: The Short Message did not appear, which we thought was just an initial name for one of the announced parts of the series, especially the Silent Hill f part, which is a big novelty in the series, but today the Korean Game Evaluation Committee surprised us by returning Update the game page and placing the PS5 platform as its exclusive title.
Furthermore, this reminds us of what was leaked earlier this year about the Sakura Demo Project, which is believed to be a test version of the previously unannounced game The Short Message.
This means that this game is a new separate title in itself, and we will witness its reveal in 2023. Konami has confirmed that there are still many new games belonging to the Silent Hill series in development in cooperation with third-party talents that have not yet been revealed, and perhaps The Short Message is one of them!
Stay tuned for more details, and until then, are you ready to welcome another Silent Hill game after so many new additions that are in development?
