The company that developed the mobile game Crash Bandicoot announced today that it is shutting down the game's servers early next year, 2023.

The game, which was released almost two years ago in March 2021, will become unplayable when the servers are shut down on February 16.

The developers at King Studio have also confirmed that starting today, December 18, 2022, the in-game purchase system will be disabled. While everyone who purchased the crystals has until February 16 to use them in the game before they are removed.

Recently, a new game in the Crash Bandicoot series was announced at the Video Game Awards earlier this month. The fourth installment in the series is being developed by Toys For Bob, under the name Crash Team Rumble.

The game relies on team play between two teams where multiple players can control the good or bad team to play against each other.

Will you miss Crash Bandicoot mobile when its servers shut down next year, or did you, like me, not even notice the game existed?
