Where Winds Meet is still in development, as we got a semi-cinematic preview of it during the recent PlayStation State of Play event. Unfortunately, a release date or even a timeframe hasn't been revealed, but the game can be added to PlayStation 5 wishlists.

Regarding the game's release platforms, only PlayStation 5 and PC have been confirmed. However, the Xbox version has not been announced.

From what we saw in the video, Where Winds Meet is a very promising game, with a focus on a richly detailed open world, a gripping story, and a flexible combat system.

While Sony continues to bring out more new titles through independent developers outside of its usual framework, its goal is to introduce new cultures to society, relying on Chinese and Korean developers, and we've seen the skills of these developers through the game Stellar Blade, which has achieved great success thus far. We hope Where Winds Meet achieves more of this success, but we'll have to wait longer to truly see that.

What are your expectations for the game, and do you think it will have a positive impact on Sony's direction in bringing titles from East Asian developers? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
