With Xbox having just finished showing off its digital Developer_Direct event and Sony having provided information in preparation for the PlayStation VR2 launch, it's almost certain that Nintendo will also make a move to show off what it's got.

It's also interesting that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, one of the biggest games of the year, is releasing in May and could be the last major title for the Nintendo Switch.

There have also been rumors that pre-orders for it and the Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp game will begin soon. Meanwhile, Giant Bomb's Jeff Grubb believes based on "everything I hear" that there will be a Nintendo Direct during the second week of February.

On a recent Nintendogs podcast, Jeff Grubb was asked about his predictions for the Nintendo Direct and when it will arrive, and he said it will be next week, likely around February 6th. “Jeff” indicated a noticeable delay from Nintendo and that it has not yet revealed its new information for its next games, but at the same time, “Jeff” did not guarantee anything, but despite this, the presence of a new event during the next week, February or March even in general, this does not indicate anything surprising, on the contrary, this should have happened some time ago.

We expect Advance Wars 1 + 2: Re-Boot Camp and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom to get some new news along with the new announcements, but both titles are sure to dominate the show. Even though there's a new show announced, don't take that information for granted.
