In January of last year, Ubisoft confirmed that its gaming service, Ubisoft+, would be coming to Xbox platforms at some point in the future, providing subscriptions with the publisher's full slate of games. Since then, there has been little news about exactly when the service will arrive, though that may change soon.
According to popular Twitter leaker ScriptLeaksR6, who has frequently leaked accurate information about Ubisoft projects in the past, such as Assassin's Creed Mirage, in a new tweet, the leaker claims that Ubisoft+ will launch on Xbox in "mid-April."
Interestingly, the service's logo has been seen on the Xbox Store backend since August last year, indicating that work on launching a subscription service for the platform was well underway.
Of course, if the Ubisoft+ service does indeed arrive on Xbox within the next two weeks, as indicated by the leaked source, we expect to see an official launch announcement in the coming days, giving us an overview of the service and its pricing. However, the service is expected to be included in the Game Pass Ultimate service, similar to the EA Play service in the Game Pass Ultimate category.
