Another leak has surfaced for Ori 3 indicating that the game may be a spinoff.. as one leaker posted on Twitter his name NWeedleNamewho previously shared details related to the development of the next part of the series, details in which he stated that the game could be a Prequel, as there is no reference to the number 3, and this means that we will see the events before the first and second parts, and the leak also mentioned that the game could be released when it is announced.

The success of Hi-Fi Rush likely influenced the publisher to wait and release the game alongside the launch offering. Previously, the same leaker claimed to have received confirmation from multiple sources about Ori 3's development, along with an image that appeared to refer to the third game already. Development appeared to be on track.

Given that Moon Studios was responsible for the development of the previous titles in the Ori series, it is highly unlikely that another studio would handle the development of Ori 3. According to him, he received confirmation about the development of Ori 3 from different sources, and they all gave him the same information.
