Call of Duty has always been known as a game aimed at fans of online games and online competitions, and few find it talking about the game's story mode, which many see as just a nice addition, but in Modern Warfare 2, it follows the Modern Warfare series, which is from the point of view of Much better in the presentation of the story mode, you are trying again to provide the best at this stage, welcome to review and evaluate the story mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Games that offer a single-player experience with an impressive story are usually long and require at least 10 hours to finish as you create an impressive experience that will stay in your memory for some time, but Modern Warfare 2 may not provide you with this real experience and instead will make you live some great military moments for a while.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is only 6 hours long and is a linear experience with simple storylines. It focuses mainly on gameplay and critical moments of completing missions behind enemy lines or on the battlefield with elaborate cinematics.
There are several missions that you will take on with wonderful characters that have a thrilling history with fans of the series, such as Captain Bryce, Soap and Ghost. The missions range from storming enemy strongholds amidst epic confrontations to reaching the goal. And another that will put you in the role of a sniper like in the Recon By Fire mission, although I liked it, it didn't reach the level of the great sniper mission in Call of Duty 4.
There is a disparity in the presentation of the missions throughout the game, some of them feel like they are just quick successive missions that don't require much effort, while some of the big missions are spread out over the 6 hours so that they remain somewhat firmly in your memory and make you enjoy them for some time and forget the tedium of other small missions. Including the AC-130 mission, of course many know what that name means, it is the indomitable plane that turns everything below into wreckage and smoke.
Also, I will not forget the Urzikstan mission, which is very similar to the famous chase mission from the Uncharted 4 game where dust covers the field of vision and you will have to jump from one vehicle to another traveling at high speed until you reach your objective at the end.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will provide a great visual experience with the directing elements of the scenes and tasks that have always distinguished Infinity Ward Studio, these touches will always be present in the game and perhaps this will intercede for it in front of some small technical problems that sometimes bothered us, but they can be solved by During the patch updates that you can access the game after its launch on Friday.
Of course, there was also an issue that made us delay in providing this review, which faced many players, which is the inability to enter the story mode despite downloading the full game files, as the issue was fixed just 3 days ago.
