Star Wars Outlaws development team has revealed its creative director Julian Gerighty As for how long it will take to complete the game, he said that players shouldn't expect a game similar to the Assassin's Creed series in terms of length.

Star Wars Outlaws is about two months away from its release, as it is set to launch in August on current-gen consoles and PC. Ubisoft gave the game a detailed look at the game during its previous Ubisoft Forward event, where we saw a lot of gameplay elements and learned more about combat methods and more.

There's supposedly a lot of content to discover in Outlaws, but not as much as in the Assassin's Creed games. This was confirmed by the game's creative director, Julian Gerighty, to VGC, where he said:

“When we developed the game, we decided that it would take 25 to 30 hours of gameplay to finish its story. But if others want to finish 100%, they will need 50 or 60 hours of gameplay, and that is enough content for someone with a job and a family.”

The team wanted to make the game a more manageable product and not a saturated product like an Assassin's Creed game, and this was a deliberate decision in the development of the game.

In the same interview, the creative director said that they cut the swimming mechanics from the final game, but replaced them with the minigames we saw at the beginning of the game's latest extended trailer.

We note that Outlaws will be released on August 30th on PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
