- The solution may contain repeated letters.
There's no time pressure other than making sure it's done by midnight. So there's no reason not to treat the game like a casual newspaper crossword and come back to it later if you're blank.

Every day Wordle presents six rows of five boxes, and it's up to you to figure out which secret five-letter word is hidden inside them.
You will want start with a strong word (opens in new tab) like ALERT—something containing multiple vowels, common consonants, and no repeated letters. Press Enter and the boxes will show you which letters you got right or wrong. If a box turns into a ⬛️, it means that letter isn’t in the secret word. 🟨 means that the letter is in the word, but not in that position. 🟩 means that you have the right letter in the right place.
You’ll want your second attempt to compliment the first, using another “good” word to cover any common letters you missed last time, while also trying to avoid any letters you now know aren’t present in today’s answer.
After that, just use what you've learned to narrow down your guesses to the correct word. You have six guesses in total, and you can only use real words (so don't fill in the boxes with EEEE to see if there's an E). Don't forget that letters can also repeat (e.g. BOOKS).
