Resident Evil 4 Remake launched globally today across all home platforms, as the game became the biggest launch in the series ever on Steam thanks to player anticipation for it.
As of this point, Resident Evil 4 Remake's concurrent player count on Steam is approximately 127,000. This is the highest number of any game in the series released on the same platform.
According to SteamDB statistics, the remake has so many players. While, for example, the game Resident Evil Village, the village had almost 107,000 players when it was released on the same platform. Remake, the second part, gathered 75,000 players, while the third one gathered 60,000 players.
On the other hand, this year is the best for horror games in general. As the game Dead Space Remake collected almost 30,000 concurrent players across the platform, and the best number remains registered in the name of the game Hogwarts Legacy this year, as it managed to collect 879,000 concurrent players through the Steam platform at the same time.
