Today we were on a date with the ruins of the highly anticipated horror game RE4 Remake, and in conjunction with that, Capcom announced that the “mercenaries” mode will be released next April as additional free DLC content.

Announcing the date of the new game mode through the launch offer we received in the last few hours. Which you can watch below, as the release date was placed in a quick snapshot at the end of the video, while we have not yet received any viewers of the expected situation.

What is Mercenary Mode in RE4 Remake?

The idea of the stage mainly depends on survival and steadfastness, where you must get the highest points by killing numbers of zombies and enemies before an evacuation helicopter reaches you or the mission fails by eliminating you.

This game mode appeared in previous installments of the series, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, Resident Evil 4, the remake of Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil 6, and Resident Evil Village.

While the presentation of the mercenary situation varies from game to game, the idea of eliminating as many enemies as possible in exchange for points is the basis for it.

We don't know if the return of the famous mode in RE4 Remake will provide the same experience we had in the original game or not. But you had to complete the base game completely to be able to unlock the new mode.

It is worth mentioning that the RE4 Remake game was released today for PlayStation, Xbox Series X and PC. While the game received great reviews from critics, with an average rating of 93/100 on Metacritics. However, it remains to be seen how players react after the game's release and whether the game will satisfy them, especially with the strong marketing it has received since its release.

And in our review of the game:

Overall, and far from thrilling, the Resident Evil Remake game managed to satisfy its conservative fans among gamers, and stood out for its many surprising technical and visual aspects. Levels and not just on the visual side, and it is worth being a starting point to demand a remake of the fifth part.

If you've tried the game so far, please share your initial review in the comments section below.
