The PS5 console has been getting some cool console skins for a while now, but it's clear that Razer wants to take console skins to a more professional level with the new Wolverine V2 Pro console.
Razer has just released the Wolverine V2 Pro, and it’s been designed exclusively for the PlayStation 5. That means DualSense feedback, Adaptive Triggers, and more. The most important thing the platform offers is the ability to modify and customize it to your heart’s content. And since this feature isn’t very common in the console market, it costs $$ 249.99.
The price tag may be a bit steep. This is a PS5 controller, something we’re seeing for the first time from Razer for the platform. The features, scope of technology, and customization that go into a console are expensive, especially given the current cost of hardware and features. Don’t forget that it’s licensed under the official PlayStation Licensing Program, which indicates Sony’s approval at the console’s early launch.
You can tweak every button on the console, as it comes with six reassignable buttons on the back, so we'll see more functionality. We saw Sony's DualSense Edge console earlier this year, and it's pretty clear that Razer is somewhat ahead of the Wolverine V2 Pro. But keep in mind that these controllers have a relatively shorter throw distance in wireless mode.
We're not far away from Wolverine V2 Pro for PS5, it's coming on December 31st.
