After the launch of Mirage last year, which took place in Iraq, the game that players are now waiting for is Assassin's Creed Red, and since there is a lot of information available about it, such as the location of its events and the playable characters, the details that we will share with you below are even more exciting.

New details about Assassin's Creed Red

According to Insider Gaming, it obtained some new details about the aforementioned game from its own sources, which are:

  • A new graphics engine will not be used in the development of the game, but instead a newer version of the series' engine called Anvil Pipline will be used.
  • This release will allow all studios working on games in the Ubisoft series to start from one point instead of branching out.
  • The new version of Taboo will greatly benefit the games in the series, whether in terms of ray tracing, geometric construction or virtual engineering.
  • The source claims that the switch to the Anvil Pipline version of the engine forced the development teams to make modifications to the series, such as the movement system, parkour, climbing, dynamic weather, among others.
  • Red's combat style is very similar to that of AC Valhalla.
  • The game includes a lot of blood, including severed limbs and decapitations of enemies.
  • The game's stealth system is similar to that of Splinter Cell, where the player can extinguish candles, crawl on the ground, hide in the grass and lie on the ground whenever they want.
  • Players will be able to build their own settlement called “The Hideout”.
  • The hideout is where the player can change clothes, build weapons, learn dojo and much more.
  • The hideout will be customizable, such as choosing the building location, roof shape and color, interior design, and how to display armor and weapons.
  • The game will be officially revealed in the coming months and will provide the biggest leap between any two installments in the series.

The same source had already confirmed that the game could be released this year, 2024, and according to the new information available above, it seems to be a promising title in this old series without a doubt.
